Tried to make it as watchable and listenable as i could, tho not much could be done. At least i hope that your open eye visuals improve the quality. Enjoy!

After an overlooked debut, Sleep (formed in 1990 San Jose, California) released a well-received follow-up, Sleep's Holy Mountain, in 1992 on Earache. The record had obvious Black Sabbath influences, and has been described as 'the best Black Sabbath never wrote.'
The success of Sleep's Holy Mountain landed Sleep a contract with a larger record company (London), who paid up front for Sleep's next record. As the story goes, Sleep went out and spent all the money on Orange amplifiers and marijuana (which was confirmed by Matt Pike in the documentary "Such Hawks Such Hounds" but denied by Al Cisneros in an interview with the Wire in his new outfit, OM), then went on to record what is easily one of both stoner rock and doom metal's defining moments; the 1 hour long Dopesmoker.
London refused to publish the record, and Sleep privately released a somewhat shortened version of the song (as a bootleg) in 1998 as Jerusalem before splitting up. Jerusalem was properly released in 1999, however it took until 2003 for Dopesmoker to be released in all its glory on teepee records.
Sleep's guitarist, Matt Pike, went on to form High On Fire.
Al Cisneros returned to public music in 2003 with former band mate Chris Hakius as Om, a bass and drum duo. The band's first three albums feature Cisneros on vocals and bass and Hakius on drums. On January 31, 2008 Hakius left OM and was replaced by drummer Emil Amos. OM have since completed a new full length studio album, recorded by Steve Albini, scheduled for release September 8th 2009 on Drag City.

Far within the oaken tower
Exists the one with evil power
Magic channeler of earth's frustration
The Druid sleeps in meditation
@1337xavi Don't have equipment just now. Two of the sets are common, this one you've taken The Druid from, the other is @ Tallahassee w/earlier version of Dopesmoker that morphs into a very slow, albeit abridged rending of Holy Mt.
The two others sets are rare; one is likely when they were still going by the Asbestos Death moniker. Shorter hair, weren't all Sabbath'd & hippied out yet, ha. The last is KILLER!!! 1994 Hawkwind/Sleep Space Ritual Tour. Downside is AWFUL quality. PM me.

Sweet. I've got an old vhs of several of their sets from way back in the day. No stoner/doom band (well, Vitus aside) ever achieved that pitch-perfect Sabbath Worship status as well or as effectively as Sleep.
