I think the signs, tokens or passwords become alive only when used between the initiates of the adepts of the Mysteries and has no value to the uninitiated of the outer world, no matter how accurately replicated. Only when the signs and tokens exchanged between the initiates takes place, then the "secret" is revealed, they are meant to open the gateways between their innermost Selves allowing the consciousness and energy exchange...the same even can also occur between a Man and the Universe :)

It would seem the writings of Aleister Crowley would be obscure to anyone who didn't already know the Great Secret of Freemasonry, as the entire structure, every line, every word, every number, is based upon it. There is though a greater secret than that of Freemasonry found in CCXX, part of which can easily be seen in addition by those whom already know the Great Secret of Freemasonry in "RPSTOVAL", both by word and sound of word, the simple system applied to the rest accordingly to reveal it.
