If you have the Rare Cult compilation the intro to Electric Ocean is by far the best ever.......Duffy is on fire and when Ian kicks in with the vocals it lays you flat....there's no duo like these 2....f'n magic

I saw Ian fronting the Doors and he did right by Morrison.....I didn't know much about the Doors..... I was a little kid when Morrison died but after watching vids and interviews of him on youtube I kinda got his vibe.....like I said Ian did right by him......too bad some people dissed Ian for doing that.....they shoulda caught a show....I'm sure it would have changed their minds......

The Cult ushered in a whole new era of rock and even though Ian and Duffy have had their differences, in my mind anyways they are the best collaboration ever, man can they kick ass, you gotta see the live

ian ashbury preformed the roles of jim morrison on both the times in saw them play with 2 of the surviiving doors in 2003 and 2006, ive seend the cult only 3 times in the 80s and stil good thanks for uploading this vid :_

Ian has an absolutely beautiful smile and I love to see him so relaxed and obviously enjoying performing. I saw them in '87 I think, it was after they toured with Metallica and then toured on their own. It's by far the best concert I've ever seen, I was right up front and I could watch Duffy up close and personal doing his magic and Ian once in a while flashed that smile good times.....goodtimes
