We mechanical keyboard users need to spread the word about these superior products. The masses (as usual) are ignorant about keyboard technology. But the more we educate those peons that insist that their cheap membrane keyboards that come with their notebooks are the best, the better mechanical keyboards will be, and the more selection we'll all have to choose from. If things continue being unsaid, then we run the risk of mechanicals becoming obsolete.

@PeteyBoy10150 You mean price? I'd rather the price fall, believe it or not.
-
@shrumpkin Well better for us then. The lucky ones will be the only ones to have the mechanical keyboards, which therefore raises their value up that much higher.
-
@roflschofel It isn't available at elitekeyboards anymore either now.
-
@Kipaization Nope. I don't think they have the 10keyless Otaku white in brittain. W

Please, more of these kinds of videos of you typing. And if you could, make them longer. I love this sound ... it puts me at ease and makes me relax so much. More!

I have this exact keyboard and love it. Mine does have printing on the keys, but I'm ordering a set of blanks. I like the look of them after all, and I don't ever look at the keyboard anyhow so there's no reason for the print. I just thought it looked better when I ordered it because it was something I was used to, I think. But now the "Otaku" has grown on me.

For those who've never tried typing on a mechanical keyboard: DO IT! Try it out. You won't be sorry.
I just received my Filco with Cherry Blues and I know that I'll be spoiled in no time. I type a lot and this is an entirely different world.
I have a 13" MacBook Pro, and have used the Apple, chiclet-style external aluminum external keyboard while on the monitor at home. And now when I try to type with it, it feels gummy and cheap. I used to think that was the best keyboard I'd ever used. LOL.
How do I know if the black, blue, or brown is best fit for me? I've used a mechanical keyboard before, but honestly never knew the technicality of it. I'm planning to get either the blue or black from elite keyboards, but I just don't know which one. Is there anywhere I can test out some? Thank!

I think you should get used ones from ebay or geekhack just to try it out first. Cherry browns are pretty pretty on ebay and geekhack. The best way for me to describe the difference between the brown and blue is that the blue weighs about the same as the brown except it clicks a lot louder and it feels clickier as well. As for the black, I haven't even tried myself so you will have to ask some people from geekhack.

Truly beautiful keyboard. I love the style, with the logo on the side and the blank keys.
I love the typing sound too.
Also, I registered on that website under sggsix as my username.
Thanks for making this video HK.
