Structural Analysis of Minecraft Models

Structural analysis of Minecraft models using the Finite Element Method. The system of linear equations is solved by a Jacobi Preconditioned Conjugate Gradient method. All of the footage is from FEMViz - an interactive solver and visualizer. It was written ground up using C++, OpenGL and Qt for a project in the course TMA4220 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

@Alek988Alek The mathematics are from 4th year courses. The visualization and GUI stuff is probably easier to implement, but i does take some time to write it from the ground up. We have programmed a lot of C/C++ before and this was not our first numerical solver either. One tip could be to start out small and work your way up - in this project we started by visualizing a single block and used LAPACK to solve the system of linear equations.
