Monterey Institute Internships

The Monterey Institute of International Studies and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) offer students a unique opportunity to apply the professional skills learned at the Monterey Institute in a global, regional or cross-cultural policy environment, while representing the Monterey Institute in a professional context and launching a career in public policy. Selected students work as a junior staff member for a public policy organization such as the U.N.Office for Disarmament Affains in New York, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria, the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) in Vienna, Austria, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in the Hague, Netherlands, the U.N.
