A longtime friend of mine died today. We had not beenin touch recently. His girlfriend called and could barely tell me the news. He had become an addict and kept losing his fight to get clean, going though horrible withdrawals. I just can't forgive myself for not having fukking stayed in touch with him more. He held a gun to his head and ejected the planet... No better song than San Jacinto. Tears roll down my cheeks listening. I will never lose touch with Abdul now. He's moved into the Light.
