As a Boomer who still values personal privacy programs such as Google and Facebook scare me to no end. It is all but certain both of them are in bed with Big Brother. I've used DDG for two weeks and like it very much. I was planning on using Diaspora ... Privacy is NOT in your future, folks; best begin to respect it and protect it before you lose it!

Even though I've disliked many things Google has done recently, I wouldn't have imagined yesterday that I'd be switching my default search engine. But now it looks more probable than not. Congratulations ddg!

This website is probably my favorite search engine, it provides better results than google and is much more direct, I love the red box feauture and it's great that it respects peoples privacy. The only thing that could make it better is the web images videos other filters, if it had those it would be perfect!
