@nate42nd Jamaica has its problems, but so do many countries and large cities. I do you will get a chance to visit one day, and, before you go, please let me know when you are going so that I can put you in touch with Jamaicans that you will enjoy. Yes. It is a country rich in character, culture and beauty.

I have heard stories that Jamaica is the worst part of the islands down there, but it looks very rich in character to me. Thanks for the insight.

Manor Park Plaza is owned by the Facey family...It's one of the best plazas is Kinston, very upscale shops in a very good location and one that has been around for decades.

@pagalley1 You are so right. Plus it is conducive to the business traveler having everything right there; from banking to stationary. Plus, for me, there is one thing that is never mentioned in the tourist brochures and that the late night access to a cold Red Stripe beer from the street vendors. I love Jamaica!

I love that dog! He's a real jamaican--bold and confident--he's just calmly relaxing in the median. I bet he crosses the street just like people.Seems like nothing phases him

@brandycordell EVERY major city in the world will have its areas that are not worth showing. When it comes to Jamaica, there are many journalists and publications that make their living on showing the negative. I make a conscious choice to highlight the positive.
