CC Parker, House District 2: Hunt County Coordinator opens the meeting up welcoming the people. Mrs. Parker states during the Weiner indiscretions on TV, Obama sings executive order 13575 - White House Rural Council and there are 26 agencies that will be coming down on the rural community.

Mrs. Parker then has Dr. John Cooper lead the group in prayer. Mrs. Parker then hands the meeting over to Thresa Matthews, House District 2 Rains, Hunt, Van Zandt counties Coordinator . Thresa Mathews speaks about the Texas Citizens' Convention For Sovereignty. What it stands for is a Texas answer to a Texas problem and it is not a polotical action committee and not another Patriot group. A Citizens Convention is what happens in Texas when
■Attempts to redress grievances through elected officials are ignored, rebuffed, rebuked or palliative measures are employed and Texans realize no cure for their grievances will be forthcoming.
■Texans determine that the government no longer serves them, they serve it;
■Texans view themselves in imminent danger from their government
The legal basis for a citizen convention is found in Article 1, Section 2 of the Texas Constitution.
Residents in 78 counties are calling for the convention and it has not even been promoted yet.
