As a runner, steve prefontaine is an inspiration to me, he inspires me constantly to give everything i have to win the race. its a shame he as taken early from us here in oregon

and one other note, whoever it is going around to ALL the videos with Steve Prefontaine in them, saying " Pre was my cousin". even though i doubt it, if he really was,then stop bragging about it on every video for bloody sake... wanker

Please, people like Robo, stop posting your year of education and your PR on every single running video there is out there.... its ridicuous. "I'm 7 and I ran a 4:10 mile, I'm going sub 4 next spring." No, no one cares, please stop posting your PR's and your life aspirations on here as if someone truly cares. It's great if you're a good runner, but then, why feel the need to get reassurance on youtube?
