Grant Bosse reports on state and local union members protesting an amendment to the New Hampshire budget that would prohibit Evergreen Clauses on future public labor agreements. The House Finance Committee approved the provision, and the state's two year budget, and sent the bills to the full House for deliberation next week.
@gregd5138: The problem is that unions can collectively bargain to take money away from taxpayers. If taxpayers decide they are not getting what they pay for, they cant stop paying because they go to jail. This is why government should not be permitted to use unions. Unions projects cost taxpayers many, many times more than they are worth on the market, it drains money from the budgets and makes taxes go up.

Why are these union members so disrespectful? Our state is broke, our country is broke, and we can no longer afford to pay the exorbinate amount of wages and benefits anymore. We are all hurting. Raising taxes is like raising your credit cards limit. As long as times are good and we keep making payments everything is fine, but when times get tough and we miss a few payments, our limit gets lowered. Taxes is the governments credit limit and it needs to be lowered.

Leftist violence .... they ought to outlaw all unions after this, just like they tried to outlaw guns after we shouted a little when HCR 6 went down.
