Why does the French commentator call it an English song, when it was the entry for the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain? I'm Scottish, so as a Citizen of the UK I am represented by it, but I have never been and never will be English.
Brilliant, thank you. We didn't have a TV in 1960, but learned this song at Mexborough St John's C of E School with E B Popple. Brings back many happy memories.
