Garam masala:
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Cloves - 5
Cardamom - 3
Cinnamon - 3 sticks (if powder - 1/2 tsp )
Star aniseed - 1
Bay leaves - 2 inch pieces
Pepper - 5
Coriander powder - 1 levelled tsp
Grind to make garam masala . Set aside 1/2 tsp masala , add rest to the meat and marinate well.
Cooking rice :
Water to cook: usually for cooking rice we take double quantity of water, but for biriyani or fried rice take bit less.
For 2 cup rice take 1 1/2 cup.
