I love this fusion. Theres a fair understanding of both genres here. Kit sounds great!

Yeah, the main rythm's really reggae feelin', but the background music n' some of those fills... not so much.
Great work regardless!!! :-)

As i said in one of previous answers, the author of this song is a kind of jazz/funk drummer(allaround drummer better said) and there is only the feel of reggae inside or just the way the instruments are played.Itr sure isnt a thing to smoke weed with :)

one of the nicest sounding kits I have heard. Love that hi hat.

Thanx man!And if you imagine that it is only captured only to relatively non-mixed overheads (no extra mic for hats) it has REALLY the sound you hear it on recording :) Thats Meinl Byzance...Love them all:)

I really enjoyed it but understood what someone said about the choice of notes i heard more jazz than a reggae guitarist, loved the groove though!

Thats right,Dave Weckl and the whole band that recored this song are the musicians that belong into jazz genre, thats why it sounds more like jazz. Also the harmonies are jazzy :) But it still has the spirit of reggae.
