From the exhibition on the history and development of Tibet at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing. For those of you who like many people in the west who dismiss this as fake or propaganda, go to Tibet AR or better yet go everywhere in China and see for yourself that China of today is not the same as China of the Mao Era. More freedom of jobs and movements are allowed, people don't have to worry about personal security while walking down the street, and 400 million people are lifted out of poverty.

  • If they are citizens of China then they are Chinese. Just like if I'm a citizen of Canada then i am Canadian. I support nationality over ethnicity because when you split a country's people into different ethnic groups, then you tend to segregate them.

  • Hey you Chineese cowards! Why do you always claim that Tibetians are Chineese and they are not natives of China? Where the hell do you think Tibetians come from, Mars? Pluto? Jupiter? Tibetians are natives to their own lands! Period! Same with Uyghurs too! Where do you think Uyghurs came from? Mars? Venus? Or Saturn? Why do you think all the civilizations in Xinjiang weren't built by Chineese? Because YOU GUYS ARE FORIEGNERS IN SO CALLED "XINJIANG."

  • not before 59, before 49. There are historical evidence of serfs through paper of ownership before 1949 just like there are ownership papers of American slaves before 1860. You don't have to "eat it" and continue to deny that slavery ever happened before 49 in tibet against historical evidence. the prosperity is mostly after the 70s which the economic reform raised all parts of china as well as tibet and that is something that can't be ignored. I don't deny the horrible Mao era of 55-76.

  • I actually vote 'no star,' if that were a possibility. Darkness and negatives before '59. All light and prosperity ever since '59? What a load of horseshit. Who do you think will eat it? To tell the truth I'm very sorry I stepped in it even for one second, because that raises the number of views and makes you guys seem a lot more popular than you are. To hell with your self-serving new Beijing museum with its ignorant self-serving so-called history.
