Back then Tim n Elfi were considered "hard". Shannon went on to win the Olympic gold so..it cleary had nothing to do w her ability and focus

they're making such a big deal out Shannon being "so old" at 19....Dom Dawes and Amanda Borden are both older than she is, why not give them a hard time? Dom Dawes competed in 3 Olympics, did any other US athlete do that?
