  • cool to see the MI ending with the paramount logo at the end suxs you will never see that again since they took it out on the dvd box sets and replaced it with the cbs paramount thingy, desilu is still in tact for season 1 and part of season 2 till they merged with paramount in 67

  • I was 14 years old in 1983. I remember all these commercials. Especially the cookware set at the end. My family was dirt poor at the time. We were on welfare. Hunger was a constant companion. So whenever that cookware commercial came on, it would make my mouth water and my hungry stomach ache for all the food they showed. At the time I wished I had a set of that cookware, as if having it would magically make a plentiful amount of food appear in my home.

  • At 0:09 The Clip From The Old Cartoon Pigs In The Polka (1943)

  • @NY32986 I thought it sounded more like B-17 BAHMM-BURRR !!! "That wasn't the TAR-GIT!"

Nice to see an ad for that right as the infamous video game "Crash of '83" was taking shape, running many consoles and software startups out of business until the introduction of the NES years later!

  • 5:35 I have that game for Intellivision "Mattel Electronics presents; B-17 Baahhhmer"

  • The "M:I" end credits came from the third-season episode "The Play" which originally aired on Dec. 8, 1968.

  • I remember nearly everything except the Tropicana and AHRC ad. Flashback city.
