Atari Cosmic Ark Commercial 1982

I'll probably be chastised by the die-hard 2600 aficionados but I don't remember Atlantis, which I'm told was the prequel to this game. What's more, Wikipedia says there were two versions of this game. Either way, I'm pretty sure we got blisters on every conceivable part of our hands playing it.

It's actually not, but they're such dead ringers at this age (within a year of each other) that I had to double check. Apparently this (the kid in glasses) is Corky Pigeon (aka Freddy from Silver Spoons), and of recent VH1 'Where Are They Now' fame, while Ralphie from A Christmas Story is Peter Billingsley, who I should add looks nothing like he used to.

@ShamW0W same here lol, and I used to get PISSED when those wavy asteroids would sneak by at the end of each level lmao. I wonder how many joysticks I threw against the wall from the atair 26 and 72 series.

Yeah they are incredibly boring now. Just a bunch of happy cheery families playing a game on the couch or some clips from a game and review scores all over the place. So uncreative.
