I went to a local trade show and picked up a dslr the other day. I got the Canon XSi/450D. It was close! Sony almost got my business. I'll tell you why: Sony: 2.4 fps. Canon: 3.5. The bundled package was a great value... but Canon has a little more clout w/ me -- I like the fact that they've supported Nat. Geographic for a long time (at least -- they used to).
Canon seems to have a lot of personal development built up for the customer, post-purchase. TTL steady shot vs. on camera... We'll see.
