The BJ Shea Video Blog 07/10/08 "Taylor Hawkins Part I"

Today's Video Blog features an interview I did yesterday with Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters. Taylor is a great drummer & thanks to this interview I now know he is a great dude as well. To put this interview in perspective...I literally spoke to him right after my ex moved all her stuff out of my home...the last thing I was mentally ready to do was an interview (and it shows), but I didn't want to be a flake & skip it. To make matters worse, the audio recorder I was supposed to use wasn't working so I grabbed my Flip video camera. Thye Foo's management asked me to not use it as a video camera, and just use it as a microphone, but as you will notice in this...Taylor couldn't care less that he was being filmed. This is part I of II.

Wow, Taylor is a totally easy-going, down-to-earth, funny-as-hell kinda guy. I've always thought that, but I've never seen him in an interview like this before. That was awesome. Thanks for posting.

Do you know what I would do to have just ONE MINUTE with Taylor???!!! Besides his looks and talent, this is why I love him. He clearly is interested in what you are saying as opposed to you only being interested in him.
