Escaping Death

This is just a trick that you could always do in this game. You keep Alucard's equipment, but since you will most likely need to use the luck code, you will have low stats.

its wierd...i see everyone using this method, but there's an easier one...ive never played this game until i got dracula x chronicles for psp, all i did was when i went into the room with death in it i pressed triangle. alucard did a back-dash out of the room and it canceled the cutscene completely. i guess ill have to see if i can put a video of it on myself. but kudos to you for finding out how to do it this way! never would have thought to try getting hurt and flying through the room

Yeah, that only works on the PSP version.

I see that you have the Japanese 360 version. Is it true that it has the FMV's unlike the American release on the 360?

Yes. The American release also has these FMV's but there is no "trigger" for them.

You mention that it doesn't glitch on the PSX when you fall down that hole after escaping death. Well, maybe not on the Japanese version, but I have my American version in front of me right now and have done this cheat many times. It definitely *does* glitch. Guess I should know better than to buy American ;->

What platform are you playing it on? That is the difference. It glitches on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PSP.
