@ernis1100 The Samyang 500mm/f8 is 750mm/f5.3 on DSLR and 1000mm/f4 of micro four-thirds. The focal length increases and depth of field drops on SLR lenses which is why people find them harder to focus and hold without shake. I've been testing quite a few cheap lenses and currently my favourite for hand held use is a old Canon FD 70-210mm/f4 which works out 140-420mm/f2 on my Panasonic G2. Would be about 105-315mm/f2.6 on DSLR. Check out my uploads to see my Samyang 500mm photos.
@sang3Eta If that's the only problem then Heck I'm getting one, I'm using my current sigma 70-300m on manual cause the motor sound scares the subject away. And I'm even using my AF-S lens with VR on manual most of the time.

Nothing wrong with it just people are not used to using a manual lens. Image stabilization and auto focus have spoiled us. :D

Samyang 500mm?
Damn true it's crappy....
It was hard to tell if the European Starling was in focus or not...
But great capture.
