  • @UmadBRO1999 In the16th cent.Grand Duchy of Moscow and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was a cultural and religious entity using one literary language. Ivan the Terrible invited Ivan Fedorov from Lithuania, who began printing books in Moscow. Fedorov then fled to Lithuania, but continued to publish the same books in the same language in GD of Lithuania as it was one nation but russian people were separated by the competition of GDL and Moscovy for geopolitical legacy of Kievan Rus.

  • @UmadBRO1999 The problem was that Fanaber, identified the Grand Duchy of Lithuania with modern Lithuania and modern Lithuanian Ethnos, and did not want to accept the fact that medieval Lithuania (modern Belarus+Ukraine) was part of the cultural and political heritage of KievanRus.He did not want to admit that the official language of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was the Russian language (Ruski jazyk). He prefer to call this language in latinized way as Ruthenian to oppose this culture to Moscovy.

  • Poland should have made a military alliance with the Ottomans; when they suspected Russia, Austria and Germany were planning an invasion, they should have requested the Turks send a massive military division to Warsaw; and in return, they could keep whatever land they conquer from their stations in Poland. Lol, of course this would create a huge commotion, with angry Muslims flooding Christian lands unwilling to leave after the war is over... but that would be the problem of Poland's enemies X)

  • @Aleph500adam the last Tsarina of Russia didn't speak fluent Russian but rather German; she and Nicholas often spoke in German and would only speak Russian with their children. Many royals were married into leadership of countries during the renaissance and imperial ages; so what exactly is your point?

  • @fanaber70 that’s a world first

    10%??????

dude i would like to see that scientific proof

  • @fanaber70 BTW Władysław II Jagiełło king consort of Kingdom of Poland (1386–1399), and sole King of Poland (Jogaila's Russian mother was Uliana of Tver) was able to speak only Russian (Ruski) ! He also wrote letters to his brother, Vytautas in Russian (Ruski) using the Cyrillic alphabet.

  • Uropean Union everywhere... Screw EU!

  • Norman Davies made a mistake saying there were only 2 % of the Polish population who were noblemen. Actually it was 10%.
