One night the wife says to me, "Want to run some Hero tip missions?" I find out she is running her Empathy defender, so I decided to bring my Pistols blaster.
We put the call out to the SG (Super Group) to see if anyone else wants to join. Two people sign up for the fun. One brings their Archery blaster and the other grabs their Empathy defender. Knowing how much insanity this can be, we turn the difficulty up.
These wicked assassins have a nasty AoE patch effect that slows you down and deals damage. They all tend to throw these Caltrops at your feet, making the effect stack to nasty levels. Empathy buffing negates the damage, and three of the team can fly over the effect while the fourth can teleport out as needed. Having range attacks is also very helpful.
