Mage Solo Zul'Gurub

This is a great video of a frost mage solo'ing some mobs in zg for rep, gold, and stuff for turn-ins like bijous and coins. Also, keep in mind this was done in vanilla wow, before they changed the instance and nerfed most of the creatures inside it. I was level 60, at the max level cap at the time. Yes, today nearly any class can solo the whole instance, but this was quite different when this was made.

Ppl, understand that this mage is LVL 60.This video was made on vanilla days and Zul Gurub was a 20 man raid. So soloing all these elite mobs at lvl 60 makes this guy a pro.This is just an amazing video.Remember that at lvl 60 mages had like 4k hp and spells were a lot weaker than they are now.Pure skill in this video.

Actually raids like Naxx, back in the day were incredibly hard. It was due to the fact, that you had a few things:

1. Massively piled buffs such as flasks, and would have to pot, tuber, snapdragon and such

2. Could only really use certain specs, not like today, there were no boomkins, no ret pallys,etc.

Even the good guilds took longer then to clear a boss than it does today.

I remember watching this with such enthusiasm on google video so many years ago and dreaming of my own Zandalari Hero Charm. I wish games would still spark such emotions for me today.

Well, a handfull of guilds did manage to kill him so i don't think it was broken. Me and my guild were able to bring him down to 15% once and we tottaly believed we could kill him... But then TBC came out...

but from what i understand kel thuzad was broken because there was'nt much room/space for people to be out range from each other

Hardest boss on Vanilla was Kel Thuzad. Not many guilds were able to kill him which means not many full tier 3 players.

But C'thun pre-nerf was the hardest boss of all bosses in WoW (4 expansions included).

Yeah and don't forget the time it took back then to just get attuned/keyed to do these 40m raids. It was totally different back then. Not pre-school raiding.
