this is the shittyest version i have ever heard. it is a slap in the face to pantera instead of a tribute! everyone is out of tune and sound like they are bored!

@billyfigueredo You really don't listen to a whole lot of music if you think Between the Buried and Me are masters at their instruments.. Being a guitar player myself this a pretty awful cover. The bends are sloppy and they don't know scaling to save their life. Maybe they're just bad soloists or isn't too creative when it comes to mixing up guitar lick but I wasn't too thrilled. Not to mention their tone is awful and their squeals are mediocre. Listen a little harder.

BEST PANTERA COVER BY FAR

HAHAHAHAHA these comments are hilarious! You people obviously don't know music. BTBAM is one f the greatest bands out there. Don't listen if you don't like it. No offense to you 80's fucks but BTBAM is by far the best musicians pretty much ever and all masters at their instruments and others. Listen to their actual albums before you bitch. And yes there is a studio quality out there. And also, they do a lot of recordings themselves, which makes them even more awesome. Thanks for the laughs

@Taco550 i respect that you took time to listen to it, but FUCK YOU.

@1776Matthew: I love the likes of Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Porcupine Tree, Tool, Dream Theater etc.
As I said, I don't know much about this band (except they took their name from a _very_ emotive song by the _very_ emotive band Counting Crows), but I don't think they would cover the song unless it had emotional value to them, and I would think that someone who has listened more to them than you or me could detect it better.

@MrForsyth91 Go back and listen to some old Genesis (Pre-1977) or Yes ("Close to the Edge", "Fragile")
There is PLENTY of passion in good prog. As a matter of fact, TOOL is prog and VERY passionate/emotive.

Im assuming the reason this doesn't sound very good through my speakers is just it's shitty quality. I'm sure a better quality version would blow my mind.

@AsTheTemplarsFell you're the only one who has complained... :/ unless you're being sarcastic, but being sarcastic on the internet is like giving a blind man the finger.
