  • great vid man. i love your knife reviews. In your opinion what are the pros and cons of a high scandi grind vs. low scandi grind. which do you prefer. thanks

  • @OregonBackpacker

Cheers mate, well my personal prefernce is for a high to mid scandi grind, about 8mm in 4mm thick steel, so 25 deg bevels with a microbevel to add shrength.

the good tings about a high scandi is that it will cut with less effort and ofen leave a neater cut, the down sides are if you hit a rock or bone with force ect it can chip, this wil not happen with a low scandigrind as its stronger, but it will take more effort to cut.

  • Looks like a good, strong and functional bushcraft knife! I prefer a higher edge but thats a personal preference. Great sheath and beautiful knife!

  • @BushcraftTom its a great solid knife, great allarounder, personaly i prefer a higher edge aswell, i take my trapper or Northwest out most of the time, reveiws coming on them soon mate.

    cheers

  • oh, and by the way, way to copy my handle choice lol

  • i like that

  • You can see that the knife is very well finished. The handle would be very comfortable with the palm swell. Excellent presentation, Josh.

  • looks like a decent knife, looks abit like a kitchen knife lol, good reveiew mate

  • Very nice looking tool that!

  • Fantastic knife and review!
