And if you ever met her, you would know why, she has the worst attitude of any guitarist i've ever met.....and there are FAR better acoustic players than her, pretty much anybody on candyrat records has more soul and passion in one hand than both of her's put together.

PS, I agree that Kaki isn't in the same caliber as Michael, Andy Mckee, or Don Ross. I just hate it when people attack her sexuality. It's about the music, guys.

yeah, definitely, michael was something else.. in that movie, autumn rush, the kid is playing this song, but it's really kaki king apparently.. and it made me cringe, lol, cos it was just destroyed.. not nearly as smooth and flowing, and maybe that's what kaki was going for, but one of the great things about this song is how smoothly it flows.. so yeah, kaki ruined it, heh

obituary.. SAN FRANCISCO -- Michael Hedges, an acoustic guitarist and composer known for his unusual two-handed picking style, was found dead Tuesday morning following an automobile crash.

A work crew discovered his body in a wrecked 1986 BMW. Police said it appeared the car skidded off a curve and down a steep embankment a few days earlier.
