Is this a binaural recording?

Thanks for posting this. crazy6425 is right. I heard this performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London in the mid-1990's. Six percussionists stationed at the edges of the floor with the audience in the middle really made the contrasting rhythms audible in a way that no recording can.

THANKYOU. This is the music we see and feel everyday but we don't pay attention. sCience can help us understand nature and maybe contemp humanity.
We accept when we watch movies but then we dont have to think about it.Math is just real world "reduced" into equations..
When this piece is performed live with the six percussionists stationed around you in an auditorium this music makes much much more sense. Recordings can never really capture the dynamic contrast of percussion or the cool things Xenakis does with performance space.

Xenakis the musician, the creator, the synthetic mind, the man who offered us the sound and harmony of the Cosmos.
Xenakis the intellectual, the Universal Greek who danced with Pythagoreans and brought them in our days in an ideal way.
Xenakis will live for ever as his works are beyond time and space.
