well this game hade some intresthing ideas that did end up bad. :P and well for those that say that this game use ideas from re 4-re5, well this game is about 1 year older then re 4.
You aren't saying saying Resident Evil 4 and 5 ripped off this piece of shit, are you? Anyway, I don't know where to begin. RE4 directly referenced the MOVIE with the dog-creatures. I think everybody in the world would just be better off pretending this game doesn't exist. Another random tangent I can go on is how RE4 and 5, ARE NOT Resident Evil games. I've been playing those games for like, 11 years. The new games are more like The Matrix. Gymnastics. Not suspenseful. Not scary. Heartbreaking.
What did I assume, at all? Haha..The first question was rhetorical.
Resident Evil 4 was TENSE, yeah. Sometimes. But the fact remains, it's an action game. Not "survival-horror". The sub-genre that RE helped found. Puzzles don't even feel the same. If you ask me, I'd say atmosphere is what makes a game suspenseful and scary (i.e. Silent Hill). And RE4 didn't have it like the rest. The camera angles too! True horror style! Re4's is fresh for the series, but plenty others did it first.
Don't get me wrong, RE4 is a great game. But, I just don't think it's fair to call it RE when it's so drastically different. Play 2 (with Leon) and play 4. Totally different worlds. And that's not just system difference. I will grant you the fact, however, that I am extremely nostalgic for the other games and I'm a crotchety old-timer when it comes to this "new direction" of the series. The zombies were done to death (if you will), but there will always be a place in my heart for Racoon City.

I was merely commenting on the similarities.
But I disagree about RE4. It was very suspenseful and scary. RE5 was in very few places and was overall just kinda bleh.
Overall we agree, and you assumed way too much about me.

Who are you mysterious commentor?
You have said everything I have been saying for years!!!!
I fear there will never be another Racoon city though...
