Beautiful piece of music. I'm singing this for my high school chorus' Spring Concert. I hope that it turns out as well as this. :)

Fatico a immaginare che tipo di coro e che tipo di suono avesse in mente Palestrina nel comporre questa messa. Certamente il coro della Cattedrale di Westminster conferisce a questo monumento una maestà e una ricchezza timbrica mozzafiato. M’impressiona la commovente espressività ottenuta senza ricorrere a dinamiche o accentazioni "romantiche". Un confronto con un coro di alto livello ma non certo come questo si può ascoltare grazie alla Oxford Camerata (watch?v=3n8XdKkrqgo).
