@oopsibrokethecow If a man owns his children and wife and can do whatever he wants to the, is it okay for him to just outright kill them? Can he sell them if he likes? Is it alright in your book if a man comes home to find that dinner is late so he punches his wife in the face? Must be if she's his property.

The problems isn't that kids get discplined, it is that kids DON'T get disciplined enough. When parents were were allowed to be parents, run the house, and enforce rules with consquences, there was less crime and better, upstanding, members of society. Besides, she could have avoided all that by just taking the one spanking on her ass like he said. She set that whole thing up anyway. She purposefully made him mad, and mad sure a camera was rolling when it all happened.

@oopsibrokethecow In addition to that. She couldn't have been that mistreated. He bought her the computer, and as she even said...a car and gave her money all the time. He gave her a roof over her head, clothes to wear, and food to eat. She clearly had a disciplinary issue, because he said she was stealing. He is a judge, his job is to enforce the law and that includes at home. If he punished criminals for the same thing and no this own daughter, he'd be a hypocrite. He did nothing wrong at all

It is his daughter. He can do whatever he wants. It isn't up the government how we can and can't raise our kids and discipline them. A man owns his children, they are property just like his wife. He can do whatever he wants. Besides, you idiotic bleeding hearts think that kids should run the household and be able to get away with anything, and have no rules or bounderies or consequences. He told her over and over to stay off her computer. She didn't listen. That is what happens.

Discipline? This is violence,pure and simple. And not just violence against another human, but against his daughter! And the fact he thinks he is excused because it is his daughter and there is a "bigger picture to be seen" is the last sign that this is someone who is an absolute coward and a sorry excuse of a man....let alone a father.

Anyone who ABUSES another by physical or psychological cruelty IS NOT DISCIPLINE, it is cruel and unusual punishment! The actions of BOTH parents are unacceptable. This "father" is beating his sixteen year old disabled daughter, threatening to hit her in her face with the "big belt", talking of lack of respect and obedience - all the while screaming "f#ck" and "f#cking" every other sentence. There's a huge difference between this and discipline. He didn't stop. He got a bigger belt thinking that inflicting more pain was going to make her stop. Both of them made her band over and humiliate herself even more to accept the beating after she took so many hits. After finally lying on her stomach for her mother, her Dad comes back with the bigger belt. It's disgusting. Really really disgusting. It's not discipline or the "old american way" of doing things. It's stupidity and ignorance.
