I love personalizing my makeup brushes just for the fun of it! It's a great way to make your brushes look cute and unique even if there's no risk of confusing them with anyone else's. It also helps if you're a makeup artists and are doing other people's makeup because I find it gives you a uniqueness as an artists and can make your work more memorable. Whenever I do other people's makeup they always notice how unique my brushes are. Feel free to do other patterns as well, this is just what I do but personalize them however you want, be creative!

  • this is so cute ! ive taken some brushes and wrapped tape about an inch and a half above the end, coat it in glue, and then dip it in glitter. my dad gave me some kind of sealant to go over it, so that my makeup brush storage system didnt resemble a hot mess, but i LOVE this idea. im getting crafty tmr with my brushes (;

  • @laurenmakenziemakeup I LOVE the glitter idea! :) i'm a sucker for anything glitter lol

  • just a tip when you are done painting the brush imedtiently take the tape off it will NOT peel of any tape

  • @2liz2323 uhm i think you mean it won't peel any nail polish/colour you could do that but it works the same if you let it dry and i've had friends take it off immediately and it does tear the colour especially if you get some of it on the tape it will drag down and ruin the paint job but if it works for you that's great!

  • I have this opi nail polish and im gonna paint all my brushes like yours :)

  • if you use masking tape it would work better. :)

  • @laurenmakenziemakeup where did you get your gilitter from? and what sealant did you use?

  • so cool def gonna do it and cuz i have dance shows so it will help alott thnxx from the first pic when i saw the things u need and the brushes im like ohh i gt how to do it hahah thnxx howd did u think of this even?

  • I know it's been a while since this video has been posted, put I just spent the last 2 days doing this to all 21 of my brushes, basically the same as your except I used pink. This is such a great idea and I'm so glad that I found this video!

    Also, I removed the tape after about an hour, so the paint was tacky enough not to bleed and wet enough not to chip off. Hope that helps for people that are afraid of uneven lines.

  • Love your idea! Very creative. I'm gonna paint my brushes like yours!!

  • i used this method on just my favorite or everyday brushes bc i have alot in the same container and this makes it easier to find specific ones fast

  • This is really cute! I love your nails...and I like your voice, haha. Yours turned out really well! I love that idea! :D
