Rich son poor son

3 of the old parents were proud of their children's careers. However, these children did not have time for their parents. "They were very busy" each said. The last woman did not talk much of her son. Her son was not a high flyer like the others. But her son has time for his mother. The other 3 women were in awe. They would prefer that their children spend time with them.

Simple but good video. To a lot of Asians - the Chinese in particular; & I say this as a Singaporean Chinese - it's all about "face": people talk about how successful & rich their kids are, how many degrees they have, which expensive universities they've attended, when really, a filial child like the one in this video is more worth being proud of. We should really learn to focus on what's important.

That's the price for not having brothers or sisters. Maybe I'll be away from home 5 years and it'll be hard to come back. I'm worried about Ma and Pa, but I have to follow my dreams... too bad I cannot take them with me. But I'll def come back bringing honor to the old man. I hope he doesn't die first. It's hard!

Why do we walk around thinking it's so important to make that million? You can have lots of success, but what's it worth if you don't have anyone to share it with?

I'd rather have a decent job and be with my family alot than being a wealthy businessman and having shallow relationship with family and friends.
