What's funny is that the the real Henri Young eventually escaped (not from Alcatraz) and if alive today would be in his mid 90's. This movie was made in '95. So if he was alive back then, then he could have gone to the movies and watch this movie.

Haha I forgot about 90's movie trailers with the "Proudly Presents" thing the studios would do when it was what they thought of as a "prestige movie".

@TheKaffeeKlatsch Once again, I'll repeat myself. If a movie is inspired by a true story, then they should use fictional names. You're taking the names of reap people here. Look at the movie "Dream Girls". It's obviously based on the Supremes and there are characters based on James Brown, Michael Jackson, and more. But they gave them fictional names, so they were free to change history. Can you honestly not see the problem?

This is what I hate about the movie industry. It claims it's a true story. But the real Henry Young was a bank robber who brutalized a hostage and repeatedly got into fights and trouble while he was imprisoned. He was also never tortured or put in solitary for 3 years. I really think it should be a crime to make a movie about real people, claiming to be true, while everything is fiction.

this movie was phenomenal. the trailer doesn't show that. honestly, a really great movie!
