"Phi Phenakistiscope" 1:38 Directed by Gary Schwartz, Associate Professor in the Entertainment Arts Department of the College for Creative Studies. Stop-motion video produced on location on the streets of Ottawa, Canada during the Ottawa International Animation Festival. "Phi" traverses the streets of a miniature bronze relief Ottawa in search of the source of his heads. His journey ends with a Phenakistiscope of his animated Red Maple Leaf heads. The video screened as the opening film of the
final awards evening at the Museum of Civilization.
