  • relax guys, none of the things i had read about worked for me, i just switched off my imac (2010 model 21 inch) and left it in the cold. just a day after i switched it on, pushed the eject button top row to the right and the stuck dvd which refused to come out the night before, slipped out like a dream.

  • Desh???

  • What do you type in?

You can't really hear it or see it.

  • Hi there...as cute and smart as you are, this still doesn't help me... :-(

I, too have tried this method, and it does not show the DVD that is stuck in my drive as being in the list.

Gosh I really appreciate your suggestion...but do you know any else? Does your iMac have the Pinhole?? some have said it was in the slot drive, but I can't locate it... with my 20 yrs of Mac experience, I can't even get a disc out!!! LOL

  • Thank you so much! Sorry that I did not reply earlier but I was so happy that I could eject my external hard drive I completely forgot about responding! It worked perfectly and no damage was done to any files. Thanks so much!
