House of Kolor Paint job for Kikker

This is my paint job for my Kikker 5150 . I still need to wetsand, add more clear and do some graphics. But here it is so far. Using my airbrush I did the complete paint job. From primer, basecoat,clear and flake.

Did you mix the ice pearl in with the clear? then just spray it on top of the sunset pearl ? or what?

@Mr513phill yeap I sprayed ice with clear, then clear over the ice. To be honest ,the ice pearl kills the sunset pearl. So I didn't like that.

@joeydgraffix thanks, how much did you put (ice) per quart of clear??? how many coats of clear??? what size tip did you spray with?

@Mr513phill I eyeball the ice, you really don't need much ice at all, it may not look like it..but all the clear coat I used is probably like,2-4 plastic dixie cups worth of clear. Reason being that I don't need a crapload of clear is that I use a cheap House of Kolor airbrush. 10.00 airbrush, I use it for base,flakes/pearls and clear. It sorta doesn't waste much product at all. Coats I would probably say around 5-10.. Next time I spray something later on this month I'll keep count

i love that ice pearl look, you used an inter coat carrier right?

@Mr513phill Nope. I've tried using it..I just didn't get the hang of it. I just spray HOK clear coats. I'm no pro, I just do this for fun. So don't take my advice on this if its for a whole car or something lol.

this paint if crazy expensive.. just went to the shop to get a pearl tangerine color and my jaw dropped

I thought you couldn't spray clear through an airbrush?

@joeydgraffix so you put some of that in the paint bottle(where you put airbrush paint in) and spray it right? cause im tryna do that when I airbrush
