Metal Gear Solid 4 Walkthrough Special - Snake Loves SUNLIGHT!!

Basically I showed off the Solar Gun AKA Gun del Sol. Those of you who are familiar with a game called Boktai will probably get greater enjoyment out of this than those who aren't. Boktai is a GBA game with a Solar Sensor built into the cartridge. Yeah, weird. I know. You can always look it up if you want more information. Also, before you ask, yes I have played it.

Anyway, this also seems like a good time to tell you that I have ALL of the Metal Gear Solid 4 walkthrough recorded. Yay me! All I have to do is record commentary on the non-cutscene parts and publish them and upload them. I'm going to say this now: I tried avoiding too many fights while at the same time trying to go as fast as possible to minimize on the number of parts..... not a good idea. You'll see what I mean as the parts are uploaded. Also, as I said before, my new TV really dumbs down the picture quality when I use the splitter cables for my Dazzle. So while playing, I sometimes had a hard time seeing what was going on. That's why I used the Solid Eye's Night Vision mode so much.

Wow.... sorry about all of that. That was a lot of stuff...

@Chancelator It's a reference to Konami's other video game series, Boktai. That yellow guy is known as Master Otenko.

this gun is from the game lunar knights, and it belongs too a kid named Aaron.

@MegaROFLproductions Actually it's originally from Boktai. The Solar Gun was used by a character named Django. Lunar Knights was a sequel or spinoff or something to Boktai.

Lol Gun Del Sol. That's also a battle chip in MBN 4, 5, and 6. Cross over with Boktai of course.

Lol it's probably useless as compared to effective combat.

It was a sequel, but in Japan it was called Boktai DS. Aaron was called Django once more and it was hinted they were Reincarnations of the previous Django and Sabata. Sadly it changed in USA, even the NERO Kitty had absolutely no relation to Nero from Boktai GBA series

@KrisRandomHero Considering I get alerts easily while using it, I'd say it's useless enough. However, it's very useful in sequences like the rail shooters and the fight in Advent Palace. And Vamp. But aside those few points and the battle with Screaming Mantis (good for using as non-lethal ammo when Mantis uses soldiers as shields), it's terrible for the stealth parts of the game. 2 full shots and I get an alert. :(
