  • Americanski planes take off with a catapulta, up to 3 at once, and up to maximum takeoff weightski. Something their Russian counterparts can't achieve with the ski slope on the Admiral Kuznetsov. but I guess that kind of performace isn't needed when your carrier can only support 17 fixed wing aircraftski.

  • lol i feel sooo bad for those two yellow shirts... their gettin jetblasted really hard!!!

  • "go go go! "she sounds like Tami Taylor from FNL

  • I was there couple of weeks ago :)

  • Thankyou for posting this video. I was in the U.S. Navy from 88-92. I was in the air-anti submarine squadren, VS-33 Screwbirds attached to Carrier Air Wing 9! I was all over this here flight deck chasing birds during launch & recovery flight ops!

  • This was my ship Jan 2,1984 - July 2,1987 Thanks for posting,oh,I was A Grape,so I knew that flight deck very well.

  • Smoooking !!!

  • this is what I do onboard the USS Reagan. Cat crew rules...lol!

  • I remember flight ops on Westpac '93. I loved watching the takeoffs and landing, especially night flight ops. My squadron flew the F-14A Tomcat, VF24 Fighting Renegades based at NAS Miramar

  • this is the definition of sea presence.

  • Ops seemed to be slow. I flew off the Forrestal and they launched every 20 seconds. Things got very fast when we launched a full alpha strike of up to 36 aircraft.

  • Russian carriers can't launch any planes that aren't afterburning because it doesn't have a catapult...
