This moving hymn written in 1752 by Ka­tha­ri­na A. von Schle­gel, in 'Neue Samm­lung Geist­lich­er Lied­er', (Stille, meine Wille, dein Je­sus hilft sie­gen) and set to the music of 'Fin­land­ia' by Jean Si­bel­i­us in 1899 invites us to consider the suffering and death that is ever-present in our lives and the promise of Christ's healing from the cross. Sung by the extraordinary boys' of 'Libera' and is widely available on their CD 'Angel Voices'. This is a hymn of consolation and comfort.
