very fast ford laser 11.9s

one very fast ford laser, perth wa motorplex 4/5/08. second fastest laser in australia,(still standard internals, unopend) SCARY!!! ;-)) second run was 11.88 but my battery was flat ;( shame.

mods this car had: gt3076r, steam pipe manifold, 38 mm tial wastegate, 3 inch exhoust, microtech lt10, rx7 injectors, walbro 550 hp fuel pump, d2 adjustable suspention, front mount, lsd, straight cut 3rd gear, lightened flywheel, brass plate clutch, custom alum radiator, 19 psi, and for the drag strip 24 x10 14 inch mickey tompson slicks. and who ever thinks that its not possible to do this time with these mods much be stupid or something.

i know its hard 2 believe but i have no reason 2 lie. didnt touch rods of pistons but pistons didnt last long on 19 psi. i never opened the motor after i blew the piston up to see the rods coz lots of ppl said that the rods get bent on these mazda engines after 15 psi.

Cmon man...stock engine? Are you SURE you havent at least changed the rods? Or are you running a BPD?
