Basic Muay Thai Combination, incorporating attack and defense. Remember to step in after the 2nd block so you're in range to knee, start slow and build your speed and power throughout the round

  • when defending with your leg from a kick keep your foot straight dnt let it drop down. keeping it up contracts the muscles around the shin so ur bone doesnt take all the impact

  • There does seem to be some confusion over this. Some trainers have told me to do what you said but others tell me different. Whatever works for you I guess

  • @ranbirsingh50 My trainers taught me to point my toes down and swing your checking leg out so that when you check the kick that if it slides down it goes down and away from you, otherwise it has a potential to slide down and hit your back leg. That's what I've been taught but it's like you said everyone has their own techniques and what ever works for you then stick to it

  • I'm just a beginner but when delivering a knee strike we learn to go into the body with the hip once the knee is up.

  • Good technique but when you block the kick your toes should be pointing up so that the muscles on the shin contract , which helps sheild the kick.
