If you get the opportunity and the money visit Goa, it makes no sense to read about it books or on the Internet.

The Portuguese music comes in from the old days when the portuguese was ruling, so those songs are just being passed on, no Goan artist has come up with any song in portuguese. as far as i know, there is nothing Goan sung in portuguese.... Cheers.

Is the music of Goa exclusively sung in konkani? I saw your posts, and all music in Portuguese is imported. There´s Remo´s "Maria Pita Che", but it´s from Daman........is there anything purely Goan sung in Portuguese?
