where do you get 3D data for the buildings? gps doesn't provide this

Hi, the game uses a manually created height map for a section of Sydney CBD. So this game is not really feasible to play anywhere until something like google maps offer full 3D building data ;)

haha this reminds me of the old gorrilaz or cannon game on old pcs,
how much money does each unit cost? i dont know about america but i bet this would be very very popular in japan they love this kinda stuff.
