I've learned that an airplane toilet can suck an entire roll of toilet paper down in about 3 seconds.

Incorrect, it was one entire roll. I got the roll from the storage compartment next to the toilet and unrolled the whole thing. Thats why there are still two rolls in the dispensers.

Not all airplane toilets can do that. Only if it has that kind of flush (with the vacuum siphon). If it flushes with the blue chemical-water, it won't work. I don't think all, but some Boeing 737 and 757 planes have the latter. If the toilet has a handle to flush (like one on the ground, as opposed to a push-button), it'll have the liquid.
