@darlin3ify Si, a mi me gusta este caza,lo que usamos nosotros en Africa (1961-1974) fue el Fiat G-91,caza-bombardero medio,pero con poco alcance de accion:)

@brandaoz ya ves.... ee.uu parecia que no tenia animos como sienpre...... pero sobrre el f-105 ,es un buen caza y bastante ¡¡rapido!! pero su poca habilidad le hizo bastante devil frente al mig-17 y mig-21 ..

Every era has it's distinguished display of bells & whistles. During the 1960's, we saw aircraft like the Vigilante,Crusader,Thunderchie
f,Hustler,Starfighter,Voodoo etc. Today the list is shorter because of costs and better technology like displayed with the F-22 & F-117. One thing I do miss is the fact that yesterday's pilots were: PILOTS...Today they're more like computer operaters. -
Interesting to see how they try and make it look noble, yet later Vietnam films showed it as a huge mess.
With Iraq war films it pretty much went straight to huge mess. Maybe if there was an international Caliphate threat then we'd see some Iraq war films which show it in a noble light.

Thanx for refreshing my memory, couldn't think of the name VIGILANTE.
I do remember that plane has a "all-flying" vert fin, no separate rudder and all-flying horizontal stabs.

@carlosmurphy4u no problem, in this ages many beautifull aircrafts in east and west did theyer duty not very long, soon replaced by a new type.a whol bunch of differend aircraft types. well today the aircrafts are much longer in service and no more so many differend ones, its more cost effectiv, but for aircrafts ethusiasts a bit "boring"

I don't know why they showed the carrier launch (not a 105) at the beginning of this.
The 105 was NEVER a carrier based aircraft!

@carlosmurphy4u i also dont knew why they put in the scene with the A-5 vigilante take off a carrier. may they think it look more dramatic

Video doesn't even mention the F-105, tho it is featured in background material, it is never addressed directly. Misleading title. TOTAL PROPAGANDA FOR ARMED SVC PERSONAL.

@287654321 its a docu about the F-105 and theyer duty , it shows how it was in this time, its not about politics, of corse today we knew more, and things would bee handelt differend.and a today made docu abaout the f-105 would bee differend.
