Here is a reissue of Chet's famed '59 Country Gent which was modded to have a wider 1 3/4" nut, and hotter pickups. This particular example was made for NAMM to promote the reissue of this guitar which was built in collaboration with Paul Yandell, Chet's longtime rhythm guitarist. Chet's original was custom made for him, so this is as close to Chet's original as you can get...They never made a production version of the original until recently. Enjoy.

  • VERY Instructive & Informative. Could you PLEASE do a simular presentation

of the 75-76 Gretsch SUPER Chet?

  • @ancientastronomer sorry I don't have one.

  • Hi Dave, what's Dynasonic pickups? I'm interested in 6120DE which is a 1997 Duane Eddy signature. Any experience on that guitar? I heard it's all laminated rock maple

  • @equalsights Dynasonics are single coil pickups like the ones on my Silver Jet, check out that video. I never played a Duane Eddy, but that also has Dynasonics...

  • beautiful. what amp did you plug into at 7 mins and what effects were you using? amazing tone.

  • @barkatthemoon81 Thanks for the kind words. I plugged into a Peavey 5150 II. No effects. I rarely, if ever use effects. I like to rely on just the guitar and amp. Thanks.
