This is Nequaquam Vaccuum and Sub-Sic in one! Live at the someday lounge yesterday at about 10:30 pm, a night to remember, we played for gus van sant and we played for a good 4 hours together the whole evening, collectively. I'd played from about 5:00 pm to about 8:30 pm, then a band came on, then I and Noah started our duet. This is the tail end of the first 20 minutes. I play every wednesday and friday at the someday lounge in portland oregon.

  • One thing that's really amazing about this video, it's an excerpt of the last 20 minutes of the only recording I have of this, and I played 7 hours that evening. Noah played with me for 3 of them. Shamanic energy brings some serious musical staminae. Noah's awesome too. I've always enjoyed playing with him.

  • your playing is excellent!

did noah give you a copy of the Post-Asiatic vinyl we put out?

hope to meet you in person someday!

  • No, actually I didn't even know we got a vinyl, did you guys get a recording of our stuff? Stuff with me in it? I know Noah has a ton of really old nequaquam vaccuum recordings, but nothing with me in it. I have all those recordings, except one he has of us playing at dunes in 2004.

  • excellent guys!!!

  • Thank you, You should also check out "This is Nequaquam Vaccuum" and "Child At Play". They're good. "something I like to play" is good also.

  • I understand! The hop-frog kollectiv did a 5-hour drone in A at the Soundwalk in Long Beach this fall. Wow! I it didn't even seem like that long!

anyway, wish I could hear the other 6 plus hours of your performance! Great stuff!

  • i don't believe you're on that recording.

hopefully we can release something with you on it eventually

I love, love, love your stuff!!
